The Pedet Food & Chill Zone is one of 11 projects shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival Award in the Restaurants and Bars category.

The zone contains seven restaurants offering cuisine from various parts of the world, including Spanish, Italian and Vietnamese. It has the Pedet Bar at its centre, as well as a stage for events, concerts and other activities.

The facility opened to the public in December.

A team of Polish designers from the Wrocław-based 3XA Architekci Studio is scheduled to present their project during the World Architecture Festival’s awards ceremony in Singapore on November 6-8.

Renoma is one of Wrocław’s iconic buildings. The only surviving prewar department store, in 1977 it was declared a listed monument as a flagship example of European modernism.

In recent years, it was restored to its former glory as a modern multifunctional building combining retail and services with office space.
